Sassari, Italy
Acrisure Partner Double S Insurance Broker collaborated with Dinamo Basket Sassari to collect aid for the people of Ukraine. Several donations were collected for basic necessities and urgently needed medicines.
London, UK
Acrisure Re London office's charity of choice for 2022 is YoungMinds, the UK's leading charity fighting for children and young people's mental health. The London team has donated over £64,000 throughout the year through fundraising initiatives including the Royal Parks Half Marathon, Marathon de Sables, a bake sale, rounders tournament, football tournament, global steps challenge, annual golf day and an upcoming Christmas Jumper Day.
Toronto, Canada
The Acrisure Re Toronto office held a Charitable Trivia "Jambor Re" during Pride Month. The team raised $10,000 in support of The 519, a charity committed to the health, happiness and full participation of the 2SLBTQ+ communities.
Tampa Bay, FL
Acrisure Partner Alltrust Insurance was recognized with a One Tampa Bay Corporate Philanthropy of the Year Award by the Tampa Bay Business Journal. The awards honor local nonprofits and companies dedicated to philanthropy.
This the fourth time Alltrust has been recognized for their community involvement and commitment to Tampa Bay. Throughout the year, Alltrust has supported a variety of organizations and events, including the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay, Eckerd Connects, Ryan Nece Foundation, Tidewell Hospice, Pepin Academies, Quest Inc., Southeastern Guide Dogs and Peace River Center.
Pittsburgh, PA
Earlier this fall, Greg Williams committed a $100,000 gift from Acrisure to local Pittsburgh station 102.5 WDVE's annual Radiothon fundraiser for the UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Acrisure also contributed $10,000 to the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania for their Kick Off campaign fundraiser as part of our ongoing partnership with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Grand Rapids, MI
This summer, Acrisure hosted a series of events to welcome colleagues to our Grand Rapids headquarters for in-person work. We involved the greater community by partnering with local organizations and nonprofits, completing over 4,400 kits, meals and activities for those in need.
We also announced a $100,000 gift to the Grand Rapids Children's Museum to support the opening of the brand-new "Wimee's Dreams" exhibit. Wimee is a beloved puppet robot featured on the PBS show "Wimee's Words." Acrisure is committed to supporting programs and efforts for young minds to use their imagination and gain exposure to technology.
