Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do we protect your personal information?

To protect non-public personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, we use reasonable security measures that comply with applicable federal and state laws and regulations. These measures may include, among other things, secured files and buildings as well as oversight of our third-party service providers to ensure such non-public personal information remains confidential and secure.

  • What is a Customer Privacy Notice and why does Acrisure have one?

Certain federal and state laws require that entities classified as financial institutions under applicable laws, including Acrisure, notify their customers periodically of their privacy practices and, depending on those practices, permit customers to limit some of the ways the institution shares their non-public personal information.

The Acrisure Privacy Notice explains how Acrisure obtains certain non-public personal information about current or prospective customers and the steps we take to protect such information in our care or custody. The Acrisure Privacy Notice describes how we may share non-public personal information with others and how customers may limit that sharing.

  • Why was I mailed a Privacy Notice from Acrisure?

The Acrisure organization is comprised of a number of affiliates and subsidiaries that ultimately are owned and controlled, either directly or indirectly, by Acrisure, LLC. Acrisure refers to its individual insurance agencies as our Partners, which largely operate through a number of assumed names (or DBAs). Because Acrisure Partners have access to their customers' non-public personal information when carrying out their duties, they are required by certain laws and regulations to provide you with a notice of their privacy practices and to advise you of certain related customer rights that you may have. As you will see, the Acrisure Privacy Notice describes how Acrisure and our Partners collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information. It also explains certain rights and choices you may have with respect to your personal information.
