Families in Grand Rapids can now bring their imagination to life with Wimee the Robot. The Grand Rapids Children's Museum celebrated the official ribbon cutting for the Wimee's Dreams exhibit in partnership with a gift from Acrisure.
Wimee is a beloved puppet robot featured on the PBS show Wimee's Words. The "Wimee's Dreams" exhibit includes an interactive storytelling station for kids to create and storyboard their own dreams as well as a puppet-making station that inspires kids to create their own characters. An interactive pretend set becomes the background for a make-believe broadcast, captured with a pretend camera.
